Custom Web Applications, Portals & Internal Tools
When a workflow lives in a spreadsheet that three people email around, the spreadsheet is not the problem — the missing tool is. We build focused web applications for the processes that off-the-shelf software does not fit.
What we build
- Customer portals for order status, documents, and history
- Distributor and dealer portals with account-scoped access
- Quote and RFQ workflows with review, revision, and approval stages
- Internal dashboards that combine data from several systems
- Job, project, and work-order tracking tools
- Document and asset libraries with permissions and versioning
- Inspection, checklist, and field-data capture tools that work on a phone
- Admin areas for content, leads, and configuration
When custom is the right answer — and when it is not
Buying is usually cheaper than building. Custom development makes sense when your process is a genuine differentiator, when the tools available force you to work backwards, or when the cost of manual coordination has grown past the cost of software.
- Buy first when a mature product covers 80% of the need
- Build when the remaining 20% is where your margin lives
- Build when you need several systems to agree in one place
- Build when access control matters and shared files cannot provide it
How we build
We ship a narrow first version to real users, then expand. Every application gets authentication, role-based access, an audit trail where records matter, and a data model designed for the reporting you will eventually want.
- Role-based permissions from day one, not bolted on later
- API and webhook integration with CRM, ERP, and accounting where feasible
- Mobile-usable interfaces for anyone working away from a desk
- Export paths so your data is never trapped
- Documentation and handoff so your team can operate it
Security and access
Portals hold information customers expect you to protect. We scope who can see what before building screens, enforce it on the server rather than in the interface, and keep administrative functions off public URLs and out of search engine indexes.
Questions people ask us
Can it connect to our ERP or accounting system?
Where the system exposes an API or supports scheduled data exchange, yes. We confirm technical feasibility during discovery rather than assuming it.
Who owns the code?
You do. Ownership and handoff are part of the agreement.
How do you price custom development?
Scoped per project. Our pricing page shows the range that custom work generally starts in; the variables are integrations, user roles, and data complexity.
Can we add to it over time?
That is the intent. The first release is deliberately narrow so later phases are informed by real usage instead of guesses.
Describe the spreadsheet you wish were an application.
Who uses it, what decisions it drives, and where it breaks. We will scope a first version around the smallest thing that would be genuinely useful.
Descriptions on this page explain what we design and build. They are not guarantees of rankings, leads, revenue, or performance. See our results disclaimer.
